janette beckman and david corio were london transplants that shot iconic images of personalities musical and otherwise here in new york in the 70's and 80's. the morrison hotel gallery on the bowery just opened an exhibit of their work, which offers a rare opportunity to see their portraits of punk and hip hop figures displayed together. more info here.
