The eighth annual Afro-Punk Festival kicks off this weekend in Brooklyn's Commodore Barry Park. The free event runs through Saturday and Sunday, featuring movement-centered bands, skate competitions, artists, and vendors. Live acts include performers like Janelle Monae, Erykah Badu, TV on the Radio, Venus X, Ninjasonik, Toro y Moi, and Spank Rock.
