Drawing on the history of the church itself and expectations of what is beautiful, the work explores the authenticity of memory and the deceit of nostalgia. Opening on December 10th, Finding Time features the work of nine emerging New York-based artists. Using palpable objects and material gestures, the show explores how our awareness of time's passage might be remembered, marked, and recorded.
