word bookstore in greenpoint is hosting a fairly unconventional writing workshop tonight. novelists are invited to share a few minutes of new work for critique, with free wine offered as liquid courage. this month marks the broken hearts club edition, and andrew shaffer, author of the book great philosophers who failed at love, will be appearing. spectators are welcome to come witness what should be quite a show. full details here.
