opening this evening at nicholas robinson gallery in chelsea is the first solo exhibition of portuguese artist miguel palma. in his sculptures and installations, toys and gadgetry are transformed into large-scale, revolving systems that reflect and critique technological and militaristic themes. with video projection elements added into the equation, the spectacle seems worth a studied look. full details here.
